Last night saw the launch of Boardroom Dining by Crackerjack BBQ.

Directors and Partners at Leeds based Grant Thornton held their evening board meeting while enjoying a sumptuous four course working dinner.

Grant Thornton Leeds based office at Riverside, Granary Wharfe which overlooks the River Aire, is just one of 27 UK and International branches. The boardroom was transformed into a dining room with Crackerjack BBQ’s signature Black & Pink, crystal and silverware.

 

 

Following pre-dinner drinks, the starter course was a choice of Ham Hock & parsley terrine with pickled charcoal grilled vegetables, gribiche sauce and toasted sour dough bread or Crackerjack Prawn Cocktail, King prawns, tomato Jelly, bloody Mary crème fraiche & sour dough bread on the side.

For main course, diners were presented with Cordeiro lamb joint glazed with garlic, rosemary, mint and redcurrant; accompanied by a stack of mediterranean wood roasted vegetables with pine nuts, basil and parmesan shavings and crushed baby new potatoes dressed with lemon & minted butter.

 

Dessert of baked lemon meringue, confit citrus fruits, lemon curd and gold dusted macaroons, was followed by a Cheeseboard featuring British Shepherds Purse Yorkshire Blue, Butlers Blacksticks Blue, crumbly Wensleydale & creamy French Brie. All served with fresh figs, fruits and charcoal crackers.

The meal finished with coffee and petit fours.

Company dining is the way forward for businesses wanting to maintain working practices in their own environment while heightening the meeting experience for attendees.
